About Terri
PAM was founded by Terri Horwich, a retired attorney. Terri has always been devoted to helping people improve the quality of their lives, especially when they need services that aren’t readily available. Recently, she spent much of her time helping her own family and friends as they faced a variety of changes and challenges — illness, death of a spouse, divorce, downsizing, retirement. Terri realized then that seniors and others often need help keeping up with the basic tasks on their to-do lists, but solutions are not easy to find. Terri’s professional and personal background make her uniquely suited to help.
Terri is a retired lawyer who has helped clients take control during difficult and emotionally challenging moments. She is skilled with insurance advocacy, as well as coordinating with medical professionals and social service agencies. Her talents in strategic planning, project supervision, and public speaking have enhanced a variety of efforts to help people improve the quality of their lives when they need services that aren’t readily available.
Her volunteer efforts include leading the effort to pass a breakthrough in insurance law which required insurance coverage for medical treatment of infertility. She's worked tirelessly on behalf of children with special needs, including founding an award-winning collaborative Board comprised of parents, teachers, and high school administrators, and serving on the Advisory Board of FD Now, which funds research to help children born with a rare Jewish genetic disorder.
