It’s important to us that we have clear and realistic expectations about our working relationship.

Here’s what we do to make sure that happens:

Free One Hour Consultation

We will come to you so we can talk about what you need, possible approaches, and estimates of timeframes and costs.

Written Agreement

If you decide to hire us, we’ll provide a simple agreement, written in plain language, that spells out our plan for helping you.

Scheduling

We will work with you to develop a schedule that meets your needs. Normally, we provide services during standard business hours. We understand the need for flexibility, and will do our best to accommodate changes when necessary.

Defining Our Role

Often it will be to your advantage to permit us to act as your agent in dealing with insurers, caretakers, financial entities, etc. At your request, we can also coordinate with your family members. However, it is entirely up to you to decide who we speak to on your behalf.

Confidentiality

We keep our work with you entirely confidential. We know that you are entrusting us with private and important information, and we protect it as we’d protect our own. We will not disclose any information to anyone about anything without your permission.

Clear Billing

Our weekly or monthly bills always detail what we did on each day. We make it a priority to listen to you if you have any concerns.

Referrals to Other Helpers

We have developed a network of other professionals - like attorneys, accountants, financial planners, home organizers, and social workers - who meet our standards for sensitivity and professionalism. Many of them specialize in working with seniors and their families. We can coordinate with them to keep things simple and efficient.
